Marie Maynard Morgan (MA) Counselling, Psychotherapy & Supervision
'Immediacy' is the ability to use the immediate situation to invite each and every individual client to look at what is going on in their very unique and idiosyncratic life, past and present and all relationships.
It can feel unfamiliar in the present tense.
It is one of the most powerful skills in counselling to help clients make sense of their life, to recognise triggers from past to present and begin to make significant changes.
I can support you to identify and process whatever holds you back, relationships, routine, behaviour, thoughts, habit, sleep, food, exercise, to enable you to move forward... with curiosity rather than fear.
Counselling experience since 1984, I strive to continue to research and develop.
As a member of NCS, CORST and BACP, I choose not to be part of the BACP accreditation, it's unethical to be exclusive.
